On April 19, Lok Sabha elections will take place

Last Friday, the Election Commission made the Lok Sabha election schedule (Lok Sabha Election 2024) public. From April 19 to June 1, there will be seven phases for the Lok Sabha elections. June 4 is when the votes will be counted. UPSC has decided to postpone the examination that will be handled in the meantime.

UPSC exam will not be held from May 26th to 16th, June

The notice from the Commission states that the Indian Forest Service Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination-2024 has been postponed from May 26 to June 16, 2024, due to the General Election schedule. In addition, the examination acts as a screening test for 2024. The UPSC executes the Civil Services Examination every year to choose candidates for the Indian Police Service (IPS), Indian Administrative Service (IAS), and Indian Foreign Service (IFS).
The UPSC IAS Exam 2024 registration deadline was previously extended by the Commission. The official announcement says the registration deadline has been extended until March 6 at 6 p.m. The correction window was then available from March 7 to March 13. The UPSC IAS Prelims Admit Card 2024 will be made available by the Commission at least ten days before the examination.
