Day 9 box-office earnings for Shaitaan: Shaitaan, helmed by Vikas Bahl, hit theaters on March 8. Shaitaan is holding steady at the box office despite a large release in its second week with Sidharth Malhotra’s Yodha. As per Sacnilk.com’s most recent update, the box office collection for the supernatural horror-thriller has surpassed ₹90 crore, and it appears to surpass the century mark this weekend.

Updates on Shaitan’s box office:

According to the report, Shaitaan made about ₹8.77 crore on its second Saturday, the ninth day of its distribution. During the first weekend, when the figures were in the double digits, the movie did very well. Even though there has been an increase in the numbers compared to the first week’s results on its second Saturday, it is still unable to collect double digits. On day nine, the expected total collection is ₹ 93.57 crore. Additionally, the survey stated that Shaitaan’s Hindi occupancy rate on Tuesday was 26.63 percent overall.

Extra details on Shaitaan:

Krishnadev Yagnik is the director and writer of the 2023 Gujarati horror film Vash, which has been adapted into Hindi as Shaitaan. The story centers on a family that a man with supernatural powers has taken captive in their house. In the movie, R. Madhavan portrays the scary rival, while Ajay Devgn and Jyothika play husband and wife. Jio Studios, Devgn Films, and Panorama Studios are the presenters of the movie. Ajay Devgn, Jyoti Deshpande, Kumar Mangat Pathak, and Abhishek Pathak, among others, are the producers of Shaitaan.

The movie has already crossed the $100 crore mark on a global scale. It is the third Hindi film to achieve the milestone this year, following the films Fighter with the likes of Hrithik Roshan and the actresses Deepika Padukone and Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya starring Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon as leads.

“The chills and flinching that come with Shaitaan are not because the film and the situations its screenplay conjures up arein reality, genuinely, organically horrifying,” according to an excerpt from the Hindustan Times review of the movie. They are the result of the scenario reaction model that is regularly presented by hostage thrillers and twisted thrillers based on psychology. Both of those subgenres are combined in an excessive supernatural a stew in Vikas’ picture.
