Sadly, Worcestershire has revealed the 20-year-old passing of its talented left-arm spinner Josh Baker. Josh, who debuted for Worcestershire in 2021, participated in 47 games for the county team in all forms and claimed 70 wickets over that time.

Josh showcased that he had the potential to be a great all-round player by hitting two first-class half-centuries.

Josh was an essential member of our cricket family and much more than just a teammate. Josh’s family and friends have our most sincere condolences and prayers. Josh was praised by Worcestershire, which recalled his “vibrant spirit” and “infectious enthusiasm.”
