New Delhi : According to his family, expert Ghazal voice Pankaj Udhas passed away on February 26 at the age of 72 following a prolonged illness. The ghazal maestro’s death was verified by a statement issued by the singer’s family. “We’re burdened to inform you of the sad demise of Padmashri Pankaj Udhas on February 26th due to a prolonged illness,” the communication stated, Udhas household.” At 11a.m., the singer passed away at Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital.
