Pitch and conditions
There was a fair amount of grass on the field for the first game in Vizag. Almost the entire 40 overs saw it help with swing and seam movement, and it even swung even more under the lights. Conditions similar to these could also be anticipated for the DC vs. KKR game. The teams should take note of the warning regarding Vizag’s extreme heat and humidity.

What to expect
It’s possible that Vizag will serve up another pitch with pacers calling the shots; it was something the host team thoroughly loved and would like to repeat. It will be interesting to watch what DC does if they win the toss. They decided to bat against CSK, the second most popular option in all of limited-overs cricket, let alone the IPL, but Pravin Amre believes it was largely due to asking CSK to chase.
